Steve Skippen

Steve Skippen commenced the practice in 1992 after eight years of working in either the public or private sector. He has led the development of the business and been the team leader throughout. His post graduate education interests have concentrated on musculoskeletal physiotherapy, occupational physiotherapy and orthopaedic rehabilitation. He has completed a certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and advanced Manual Therapy. He is trained in The Watson Approach to Chronic Headaches and Mulligan Manual Therapy approaches. He is a certified Blankenship Functional Capacity Evaluator. He spends his days juggling his role between clinical physiotherapy, staff development and management. 

Michael Ryan
Michael has been an associate at the Practice since 1995. 
Born in Gin Gin, he graduated from the University of Queesland in 1990, and has held positions in Gladstone, Canberra and Canada before moving to Bundaberg. 
Michael is a current member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Sports Medicine Australia.
His special interests include sports medicine, paediatrics and lower limb biomechanics.
Michael is a keen sportsman who continues to play cricket in the local competition and has a mad obsession to improve his golf.

Julie McGuiness
Julie joined the practice in 2008 after returning to her home town of Bundaberg after 14 years working away. She is an experienced Rehab Physiotherapist with a special interest in neurological rehabilitation and vestibular rehabilitation. Her work history includes stints in Royal Brisbane Hospital, Royal Hobart Hospital, Royal Adelaide Hospital and Hampstead Rehabilitation Unit, and in the UK, Haslemere District Hospital. In the practice, she attends to a mixed caseload of hospital and in-rooms treatments of everything from spinal orthopaedic surgery rehabilitation to neurological and vestibular rehabilitation. 
Julie is also in high demand locally for her vocal and piano-playing abilities.

Ben Crawford
Ben joined the practice at the end of 2010. He was one of the first graduates from Townsville’s James Cook University Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree.  He has a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, particularly orthopaedics and sports. Ben splits his treating time between the hospital and rooms patients. His post graduate education is currently focussing on shoulder and spine management. He is regularly seen in the gym and has been doing martial arts for the past 8 years. 

Shaveran Naicker
Shaveran joined the practice in 2011 after having move here from New Zealand. He graduated from Auckland University with his Physiotherapy degree, and worked in various places around the North Island, before rejoining University life to complete a Post Graduate Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. On completion of this intense program, he worked in private practice in Turangi, NZ, before moving to Bundaberg. In addition to his high level of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy education he has also certificate qualifications in Acupuncture and Dry Needling.
